Welcome to December. This time of year makes us all feel something. It may be happy; it may be sad; it may be giddy or stressed. But as we approach the end of a challenging year (to say the least), the one thing WE are feeling is… grateful. Grateful to our clients for their patronage, their presence, and their patience. We never take that for granted. And we also feel hopeful… that the new year will bring positive economic change. This year, December holds three different holiday observances: Hanukkah (celebrated by those of the Jewish faith), Christmas (observed by Christians and non-Christians alike), and Kwanzaa (celebrating African family and social values). And for those of us who are Seinfeld fans, there’s a fourth holiday… Festivus. From the “airing of grievances” to performing “feats of strength,” this comedy-based holiday is a “Festivus for the rest of us.” (If you aren’t familiar, watch this funny Festivus recap video.) If you can, find time to spread happiness, joy, and peace during the month. When so much of the messaging we hear this time of year is commercialized, it can be really powerful to take a bit of time and perform acts of kindness. It’s also an excellent way to teach children about the benefits we receive by giving to others. In this season of bright, sparkly things, you should take note of the Geminid meteor showers happening on December 13 and 14. The bold, bright Geminids give us one of the Northern Hemisphere’s best showers, with up to 120 meteors per hour. Grab a hot cocoa and look up at the night sky! As we close out the year, please know that we love serving people just like you. If you are in need of financial guidance or just want to get a second opinion to make sure you’re headed in the right direction, we are here for you. Just give us a call. We wish you and yours Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and good things to come in 2023! |

From Our Homes to Yours… Happy Holidays!
