Nguyen Tran has worked in financial services since 2004. To better service his clients, he started Win Wealth Solutions in 2016 as an independent financial planning firm that partnered up with some of the best firms and solutions providers across multiple industries.
Backstory: Nguyen and his family fled Vietnam when he was a baby. His family spent 2 years in a Philippine refugee camp before making their way to America. Like most immigrants, Nguyen's parents hoped for a better life for their children. His father was an orphan at around 12 years old after witnessing the violent death of his mother, while his father died 10 years before; due to an illness. Perhaps, with better health care, they would still be alive. As a first-generation immigrant, he hopes to hear your story, hopes and dreams. His purpose is to help find a better solution to your situation. Life can change on a dime; he will provide that ear to listen, and help you show off your resiliency to adapt to those changes. His willingness to utilize technological innovations will help deliver a unique blend of expertise and care to you, your family, and your community. He will seek out learning, so he can provide you with a more effective solution.
Nguyen was raised in Modesto, California with his three brothers and one sister. Growing up with an autistic brother taught him patience, fortitude, and perseverance. He attended Calpoly Pomona, majoring in Finance and Marketing. He lived in Newport Beach after college until getting engaged and moving to Los Angeles in 2018. He now resides in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles with his wife and 2 kids. He values having an active lifestyle, running, biking, and beach flag football leagues. He has ran marathons and completed several bike races. He enjoys tinkering with the latest computer & AV tech, power tools, and gardening.

Phoebe is a valuable member of our team that began working as an assistant in a financial planning office in 1998 and realized how rewarding it felt helping people meet their financial goals. Her 20 plus years of experience in investments and insurance bring depth and perspective to wealth management. Her pleasantness and warmth turn every client into a friend and lead her to become our Director of Client Relations.
Phoebe lives in Orange County with her teenage daughter, and they are currently on the hunt for the best local Japanese ramen restaurant, so any suggestions are welcome. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys volunteering with her church youth group in organizing activities and meetings, volunteering on the parent advisory board for the engineering cohort at her daughter’s high school, and practicing yoga. She is currently dreaming of relaxing and reading under a large umbrella at the beach in San Diego’s Coronado Island, her favorite local getaway.

John Storm started in the financial services industry in 2007. In pursuing a business degree in college, he wanted to run his own company. His friend had been discussing the insurance industry for a few years and so he decided he was going to pursue health insurance. He got a job with one of the big healthcare companies. After getting his licenses, he really found helping people organize their financial affairs and plan for their future personally rewarding. John decided to join the financial services industry afterwards.
John enjoys designing portfolios and strategies around each client’s unique situation and investment philosophies. He was trained on all aspects of life insurances and their unique place in defensive planning. He also received extensive training in retirement planning, IRA’s, variable and fixed annuities. He is grateful for his client’s trust and confidence in helping them pursue their short-term and long-term goals.
He spent just ten years in the automotive business. John understands the long hours and the cash flow issues that sometimes arise. One of the areas he specializes in is recognizing the need for investment options that will give you both growth as well as liquidity based on your unique needs.
One of John’s many talents is tennis. He played a couple years of college tennis and was good enough to be #1 Singles and Doubles in his last year. He has assisted in teaching up to the tournament levels and even tried to break into some of the smaller tour level tournaments in the Pacific Northwest. In talking with players and teaching professionals, he can relate to the challenges that they face in finding the right mix of investments and retirement planning needs.
John is also an avid golfer. He loves to take wife (Allison) of over 27 years golfing. They have a daughter name Kayla, who is attending the University of Eastern Oregon and plays soccer there. His son, Mason, an 8th grader, also enjoy playing golf with his dad and participating in sports. We love getting out on the golf course or traveling whenever we get the chance. I’m looking forward to working with you and hitting some balls on the tennis or golf course.
