As we go into the holiday weekend, I wanted to wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day. For me, Memorial Day is more than the unofficial beginning of summer: it’s a chance to honor those who have sacrificed everything for their nation’s safety and freedom. I plan to take a moment of silence to thank those brave ones who made it possible—for you and for me—to pursue our most cherished hopes, dreams, and goals.
